Every race needs a good course, and we assist many clients in creating a route that will work for their event. We can help with the concept and design of your route, working within the roadway and venue parameters your event has available. Safety, road closure, traffic control, runner flow, aesthetics, and ease of navigation/implementation are all factors that are taken into consideration.
Many races choose to take the accuracy of their route to the top level by having their course certified and listed with USATF. Taking this step insures the absolute accuracy of the course, and makes it record eligible with USA Track and Field. A certified course can potentially have a 10-year life span before the rules require re-measure. A high-quality map is produced containing clear, concise course directions, and descriptions of key locations. Below are examples of some recently certified course maps.
